I am in need of a firing pin for a Savage Anschutz 153 in 222. Original is broken but have pieces, hoping to avoid welding.
I tried the usual places but came up empty handed.
Any of you have a special drawer with such a treasure?

Could not find one.
I made a fixture to hold the pieces and had a welder who really does know what he’s doing zap it.
Some grinding.
Some polishing.
Some tweaking.
It’s works!

Good on you. This is what we all are to face sooner than later. Broken part. No replacement available. Back-bench the gun or become inventive. You won.
