My gunsmith son, Shane Thompson just built this custom peep sight for an old Mauser 22 rimfire that was built back in 1928. He also made the base. The screws aren't finished yet, they will be knurled when finished, these shown are just for testing. Each full revolution is .025". He fired 2 shots from the window of my truck at a shotgun casing at 30 yds, made a quick adjustment & fired 3 shots at a softball sized rock at 200 yds (out the window) first shot missed high by a couple of inches, second shot either nicked the rock are slighty missed at 9 O'clock, third shot hit the rock.
