I need a firing pin (the pin or a complete assembly) for a Winchester 70 (post 64) classic s/s, with C.R.F. in a 300 W.S.M.
I spoke to Winchester they will only sell it to me if I send them the complete rifle. They want to install it. (I don't want to do that).
I tried Numrich but no luck.

I have a model 70 in 300 Win Mag - three shots and firing pin broke-
had my gun dealer handle mail out and receiving it back [FFL]
took 3 months to get it back and no further trouble -I did call a couple of time to the Winchester repair place 'bit abrupt answers'

but the local gun dealer advised it is nothing to re-due the pin! but you loose warrenty
so I opted to return to Winchester

The thing is that the sear has to work with both the trigger and the safety. That's why they might need to be fitted.

Time to get a back up gun.
