I have a Remingtom 700 ADL chambered in 300 Win Mag that I would like to re-barrel. What are my caliber options if I leave the bolt face as is? Will the action and bolt face allow me to barrel as a 30/06?300 Weatherby Mag? 300 RUM? 300 RSAUM?

Any help would be appreciated and excuse my ignorance Smiler

You can rebarrel to any Magnum cartridge that uses the standard magnum boltface. You can do this without altering the boltface.

Here's a drop down cartridge drawing listing that will be easy to use & say BTW, I have a new M700 take off barrel in 300 RUM should you go that way. Thin contour, s/s, no sights. One more, 7mmMag, blue sporter w/sights....r in s.

Ray and Eddie,

Thanks for your help. The link was perfect. I would like to go with the RUM but I'm not sure if it will fit the DM on the rifle. The 300WM is 2.62" and the 300 RUM is 2.85" so I will need to measure.

Ray...PM Sent.

Thanks again.
