Anyone have the chamber dimensions for the 7 x64? I am looking at one to buy, but already have ammo, brass, and dies to reload .280 Remington. Will a .280 Reamer clean up a 7 X 64 chamber? I already know that the two rounds are almost identical, I just don't know how close "almost" is.

You can check Clymers reamer specs.

Does look to me like it will clean up the shoulder.

I finally found the drawings for both. While they are close, the 7x64 is 1.900" from base to shoulder and the .280 Remington is 1.792". Therefore, the .280 reamer will NOT clean up a 7x64 chamber (unless you set the barrel back one turn). And, due to other dimensional differences, a 7x64 will not clean up a .280 chamber.
