Can anyone here help me with a trigger adjustment on a Savage Mark 2. I have found good instructions for the 110 series and I'm sure the Mark 2 can't be much different, but I just want to know for sure. Thanks in advance. p.s. This is a pre-accutrigger model

I did mine 7-8 years ago, look around on the web, you should be able to find the same sort of tutorial I used. Basically involved using alumimun can as shim material, seems to me I stoned mating surfaces and shimmed until I liked it. Sorry I can't be more specific, if you are mechinclined at all, shouldn't have too much trouble. As always, make sure saftey works, and remember you can over do anything.

I read that the Savage sear was made of some special metal that was "soft" on the inside and should not be stoned. I just want to know about the adjustment screws and such. I've never done work on a savage before, and the piano wire thing threw me. I did find good instructions for the 110, and if the Mark 2 is the same then I'll be done in five minutes. I just don't know if it is the same trigger mechanism. Any help would be appreciated.
