Want to Build a 375 Ruger
Title says it all. I have a donor 30-06 ADL action. I need a barrel. It the cartridge length on th '06 action sufficient? Will I have to modify feed rails or the magazine? Any help will be appreciated.

The bolt-face will have to be opened up to magnum case base dimensions. A magnum follower and magazine box is also needed (.300WinMag, 7mmMag, etc). That should take care of any problem. If possible, I'd say try and find a magnum action and swap for it. You'd be ahead in cost.
A barrel from any of the mfg's in .375 would be ok. Find a gunsmith who has the reamer.

I heard the 375 Ruger is 30-06 length. Why the mods to to the mag box and follower?
