I have an almost new .22 Hornet replacement barrel for my Zbrojovka BRNO ZKW 465. I would like to find a good gunsmith in the area who can not only install the barrel but also ream to K-Hornet. The only one I've talked to so far wanted $150 for the reamer alone. Seems to me I should not have to pay for the tool; or at least not all of the tool.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

find a different smith - you can rent a reamer for $35 or find someone who has one. K hornet reamers are out there by the dozens due to the age of the round. and its about the simplest conversion there is
