Does anyone make good rings to fit the old Warne Premier bases. I believe they are the same as the Kimber and before that the Leonard Brownell base. How about for a 7/8 scope. I have looked at the new Warne 7.3 ring but I was not imperssed with it.

If not available, wo makes the lowest base? I want a very low base so I can keep my iron sights as low as possible yet still be able to see them with the scope removed.

I personally don't like the Warne rings, but that is my option. I think you may want to have some custom ones made.

Leonard Brownell was making bases for his custom rings way before Kimber every did. I am betting that if you need something to fit his bases you could contact his old firm of Billingsley and Brownell down there in Wyano (sp)Wyoming. I think Ross Billingsley could probably fix you up quite nicely.
