I don't think Ruger has a public email address. I wanted to ask them a question about my MkII pistol and couldn't find anything on the clamshell case in which it came. They may not put their email address out there for fear of having to answer hundreds of repetitive, inane questions every day.

Just checked their website; found no email address.

I'll guess the steel used is 415 and estimate hardness at about 42-45 Rockwell. My Montana M1999 is made of 415; the Ruger may follow similar guidelines because Pine Tree does the casting for both MRC and Ruger. Comments?
