Customer wants to convert his 243 WSSM into a 300WSM. Was just wondering if there were feeding issues when converting to the larger caliber. Anybody ever done this conversion before? | ||

Is it on the super short action made for the 2.36" length cartridges? Seems like it'd be a lot of work to make it digest a 2.85" WSM. S-40 Youth and vitality are wasted on the young. | |||

Like s-40 said, if it is a super short action it could be tough not sure it's even possible. It would be like converting a non 375 length pre '64 or Mauser to 375 length. cut the rear bridge custom mag box and shorten the ejector. Feed rail work etc. Thats just the few things I can think of. Again if it's even possible. If it is a regular short action I would shove a wsm case in the mag and see if it feeds Shawn Have you cycled your PF upside down lately?????
