Well I located a real nice Safari express rifle and am going to have it dressed up with a custom stock and a 25" Badger cut rifle barrel.

The host rifle barrel had been cut to 22 inches including a muzzle break. I figure I'll have about 2500 invested when I get it finished.

The Badger barrel is the same contour as the factory barrel so it will fit a factory hi grade stock I have.

Question is who makes the best quality open sights both rear express type and hooded front sight and barrel band that will look and fit nicely on this rifle.

for originality, go back with the original winchester screw-on....there's 1 on ebay for a whole sum total of $1.99....put in "winchester front sight"....

NECG does make the sights I'm looking for. I also found a barrel banded swivel by David Gentry that looks good.
