I'm trying to locate the above for the Sako AV actions (L461R), Winchester Model 70
Classic (new pre-'64 style), and Remington 700 (made in the last 5-6 years).

My "Bolt Action Rifles", 3rd Ed. by F. DeHaas does not seem to have updated information.

I'm trying to determine if I can use a barrel threaded for a Remington 700 on a Sako AV,
without having to cut off the threads and starting over.

TIA,
George

I can't find my dimension sheet either, but I do know that the SAKO is slightly smaller than a Rem 700. Rem is 1.050 16 tpi

The M 70's are 1.000 16 tpi

Thanks, Terry! It doesn't look like I'll be able to do what I was thinking of.

As I recall, The Rem dimensions are 1.062"(1 1/16") x 16TPI. Win is 1" x16TPI.
