I'm trying to decide which safety to tool up for--Could someone post a pic of the Chapman 2 pos. safety installed in a standard military shroud? I'm particularly curious as to what happens to the hole (parallel to bore line) that the original wing pivoted in. Is this filled somehow or just left open? Could a guy fab. a filler piece and finish to improve the looks of the job? Other thoughts of the Chapman/Wisner units?

As always, your help is greatly appreciated!

hart,

What a great site! I just spent two hours following links about machine tools.

Hart-
I found that link from Brownells. Nice site. The 98's are likely similar though I'm not sure.

Still curious about members' preferences b/t Chapman's and PME's safeties and the overall look of the finished shroud.

Thanks for the help!
