Not having any prior experience with one of these 7.62 X 39's Some friends and I were trying to zero a rifle which simply shoots too high. The rear sight is as low as it goes, so does the front sight have the ability to come up? If so is there a special tool other than a BFH for this fine piece of machinery? Many thanks.

For the Chi-Com SKS's there are 2 tools, 1 is a two screw unit to drift the front sight sideways, the other is a "T" handle with a slot in the end of the leg to screw the front sight pin up and down.
Never handled a real Russian one, but you can guess what I'd try first.

Thanks Tailgunnr, Also looked on the web via SKS parts, accessories and such and found the tools so that was also a pointer into the "right" direction. Appreciate the feedback.
