The Winchester 70 has one of the better factory triggers available these days. Yours may need smoothing or tinkering, but I would recommend that route rather than a replacement. | |||

I must concur with these gentlemen. My favourite pre-64 M70 had an average trigger. I cleaned it up a bit and adjusted to the best of my ability. After several years, I finally had a good 'smith do a professional job on it and what a difference! Biggest improvement has been realised in my offhand shooting.
