Oregon45COuld you please describe your method for polishing a receiver to look like that?
05 July 2007, 00:35
new_guywell done!
Very primitive method.
draw file parallel to the bore.
shoe shine with paper (perpendicular)
block of wood with paper 45 deg to bore
shoe shine with paper (perpendicular)

Sure would make a cool looking rifle if you'd use this receiver for something that doesn't cover up front ring!

I saw a Radom I felt the same way about, I just couldn't imagine covering it.
thanks.
