Well it is a little rough, and i don,t think it would turn out the way you would like. If i had it i would bead blast the action, then have it blued,or parkerized. van

At least he's not describing it as "minor pitting below the stockline, should buff out".

I bought an action from this gentleman but havent recieved it yet. he described it via email as minor pitting but the bottom metal was trashed. I always replace the bottom metal with hinged anyways so wasnt to worried about it.

I'm not making a fancy rifle out of it anyway but now I'm starting to get worried about what I'm getting, with seeing all his other actions.

we'll see. I'm sure it will be usable. I just hope its not like that one.

A lesson in irony

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us... "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

Thus ends today's lesson in irony.

Bet I could throw that action at least 50 yards.

In the American world of "I'll sue you", how can this happen?

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Someone gave me an action that looked just like that and I traded it for an Argentine bottom metal.

I was just going to strip it for parts and junk the receiver, but, the other guy wanted it so I let him have it.

I guess the old saying is true. "One mans trash is another mans treasure".

If you noticed also that this action does not have an extractor, just the collar ring. van
