Ok folks it's time I ask the guru's of the board a question, while I know I can just order a stock for a M48 action is there out there in this big world a stock that with a little epoxy and cusing I can use? I'm looking for a varmint/tactical type of stock in a synthetic. Any ideas?

Look on Brownell’s web site. There are a bunch of companies that make synthetic stocks to fit fit Mausers. Hogue, Bell and Carlson, Adavnced Technolgy, Ram-Line, etc. The Advanced Technology stock even has a built in rail scope base.

The only issue is that the M48 is an intermediate length action so it's roughly 1/2" shorter than the 98 length action.
