Looking for any information on gunsmiths that Weatherby may have refered rifle owners to for the retrofit of factory style muzzlebrakes. I recently came into a 300 Wby with a brake but no thread protector.

Doc,
Any gunsmith or machine shop should be able to make a thread protector. It is a simple job.

This is true, and I am already ivestigating that avenue. The previous owner couldn't remember who did the work, but since the is the factory style break, I would like to have the proper thread protector if possible.
It really isn't important. I just though somebody may know offhand.
