Jeffe, can you talk to the powers that be and see if there is any interest in a "Shooting References" thread for things like Les' stuff, Dewayne's making it feed, some of the reloading stuff, perhaps. the 30-06 pressure info, etc? I don't think it would go in DIY, but would surely be more helpful than 'Competetive Shooting". Just thinking out loud.

It was also my impression that anything in a sticky was there only for reference. As such I did not think it appropriate to reply to them. Les has his own reasons for his thread but the rest makes no sense. Also as a courtesy to many of us would it be possible to warn us before you are going to delete a reference sticky? It would be nice to be able to save the ones we want.

Agreed. My assumption was that stickies were permanent, so I never felt the need to copy them.

Hey people, I thought that since this thread had been up for over 2 1/2 yrs that the interest was over. It would be OK with me if it is posted like it was before. My reason for my post was to help people wanting to make a stock. I am not in business and don't want to have a shop again.
