I was in a local pawn shop and looked at a Remington 700 Ti in 300 SAUM. In examining the bolt, I noticed the bolt face had some marks and scratches . Is this a problem, or from normal use ? Anything else I should look for ? | ||

Depends on what the the marks and scratches look like. Remember, the bolt face comes into contact with a brass cartridge case and a primer. By itself the brass case wouldn't cause any damage unless it was imbedded with something. But marks from leaking primers, tools or other types of abrasives might be a concern. What would be helpful would be to include a clean, sharp close up of the bolt face. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine.
