Guys,
Are there any substitutes as release agent for bedding compounds. My little jar of release agent has dried up but I have lots of compounds left. What have some of you used when using the Devcon two part epoxy for bedding? Thanks in advance.

Most waxes could be used such as a furniture paste wax. I haven't tried it but silicone mold release should work also.

Back in the olden days when we hunted dinosaurs, My buddies and I used spray Pam as a release agent. It worked fine and has a buttery taste...

Shoe polish, car wax, probably even Butch Wax would work.

Kiwi neutral shoe polish is the best I've used.

IMO it works better than the commercial release agents.

I use Birchwood Casey Gun Stock Wax. Available wherever you get reloading supplies and works well for me
