I have a Winchester Extreme that needs the trigger pull weight to be lighter. After a search I quickly found numerous threads on how to do it.

The problem I have now came after removing the stuff Winchester puts over the screw, I cannot get an allen wrench into the head of the screw. The gunk is in there and I cannot get it out.

Love to hear tips or solutions, especially easy ones, for this situation.

Pick it out with a pin and nail polish remover.

When I was a kid. I had the stick. I had the rock. And I had the mud puddle. I am as adept with them today, as I was back then. Lets see today's kids say that about their IPods, IPads and XBoxes in 45 years!

Thanks speerchucker. I would not have thought fingernail polish remover would soften that gooky stuff. The part I chipped off the front of the trigger housing was hard as a rock.
