I have a Winchester Extreme that needs the trigger pull weight to be lighter. After a search I quickly found numerous threads on how to do it. The problem I have now came after removing the stuff Winchester puts over the screw, I cannot get an allen wrench into the head of the screw. The gunk is in there and I cannot get it out. Love to hear tips or solutions, especially easy ones, for this situation. Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.

Pick it out with a pin and nail polish remover. When I was a kid. I had the stick. I had the rock. And I had the mud puddle. I am as adept with them today, as I was back then. Lets see today's kids say that about their IPods, IPads and XBoxes in 45 years! Rod Henrickson

Thanks speerchucker. I would not have thought fingernail polish remover would soften that gooky stuff. The part I chipped off the front of the trigger housing was hard as a rock.
