A while back I posted that I have a Sako .308 Norma Magnum. I need a stock. Which ones are recommended and why. I'm considering MPI or McMillen. Any others worth considering? Please don't mention HS Precision. It's a long story but I would rather use a 2x4. Thanks for any info.

Hi-tech and Rimrock
are good choices too. I have used the Hi-Tech and they are a notch above the MPI. Never used a Rimrock but they seem to get great reviews.

If weight is an issue, seriously consider the Bansner Bansner

I've got a couple of them and they're well designed, very light (the Sako is 20 oz), and stiff.
