I have not been able to find any scope mounts for a .223 Rem Mod 788 that I own. Can anybody please help me?

Brownells still lists the 2 piece mounts for the 788 but not the older style one piece. You can call their tech line and ask about this.

Right after I posted this request, I went over to E-Bay and found a used one piece base. I was able to "buy it now". But if for some reason it does not fit the bill, I will order the two piece from Brownells. Once again,

Try Burris for M788 mounts. I don't think they still list it in the catalog, but will make you one if you ask.www.burrisoptics.com

Do you have anything against Weaver bases?
Everybody sells them...not pretty but work.
