What head space guage is used for a 22-250?
is it the 243, 308 guages?

i THINK the 250 savage or 22-250 gages.. the 308 based cases are far longer

The .22-250 gauge. GO = 1.574 NO GO = 1.579
You can't fit a .308 into a .22-250 chamber, too long, too big at shoulder.
Clymer lists no interchangeability.

The shoulder angle .22-250 is 28 degrees, the .250 is 26 degrees 30'

Not sound like a total smart ass but you asked for it....

The .22-250 gages are what you need. There is no other readily available equivilent.

If you would you like to borrow mine, PM me and I'm sure we can come to some acceptable agreement.
