Hello, does anyone have the Standard directory of proof marks? I'm trying to research a Belgian 12ga double that I picked up. I found the WW Greeners gun and it's developement, but it seems a little sketchy on Belgian proof marks. I'm wondering what pressure my barrels and action were proofed at? The flats of the barrels show: scripts EL a diamond on a stick 1kg 418 u M with a dot above it A lion over a line over a P.V Oval with a crown and inside is E L G * and a wierd looking Y 11 12-70 inside a sideways horseshoe On the rib is says Siemens-martin-steel AD. Bouquin. Liege The action has some similar marks and SN 490X Any idea on pressure tested at maker date ?????????????????????? Thanks. | ||
