Looking for some thoughts/experience with opening the bolt face on a pre-64 308 win. From standard case to magnum case (338 win). Is there enough metal, being a tapered bolt? | ||

Is bottom metal the magazine, magazine spring and follower? | |||

In your case that would be correct, if you purchase bottom metal it would not include spring and follower...but your spring and follower will work in any bottom metal.. Bottom Metal is an industry term for the magazine of a bolt action rifle. ------------------ | |||
