can anyone tell me where to get a taller front sight blade for a ruger super blackhawk.

I haven't paid a lot of attention to the SBH lately, but I'm assuming you're talking stainless, as the front sight is pinned on them. I'm not sure how the blued ones are attached now.
Brownells would probably have different sights for the SBH, as would Millett, and a search of the internet might find others.

When I worked for Linebaugh, I remember using sights off the larger caliber Bhawks and Bisleys, .44 &.45. I think these were taller than a .357 sight and would work on a BIG gun conversion. It took me a while to believe that the bigger the bullet the more you have to point it at the ground to hit where you want to.
