Does anyone know where I can find a mainspring for a High Standard revolver? Also does anyone have pictures of how a stock has been shaped in the tang area (the back end of the action) on a Rem 700? I'm getting ready to shape one. Thanks in advance!

What type of a stock are wanting to duplicate? What stock are you working with?

The stock is an Elk Ridge laminate, I'm not really trying to duplicate a particular stock, just trying to make it look good. I'm deciding how much wood to remove from along the outside of the safety and the opposite side and also how high the wood should be.
