Early 700 BDL cuved stock what recoil pad?

Is there an otc recoil pad that will fit an early Remingtin 700 BDL with the curved butte plate?

I presume you mean the curved butt plate? The answer would likely be no. The stock is normally cut square and the pad fitted. The curve now being in the aft end of the pad.

You can wear it over or under your shirt. With it you don't need pads on any of your long guns. I think they work better anyway having used both.

I changed it. I found one from Limbsaver on the Net but it says for a Curved butte plate ADL. Will that fit? They are now discontinued I went to their site. It's for a 264 Mag so not a lot of recoil.
