The trigger guard to my Ruger M77 , with tang safety, got broken in the mail, had the gun sent to gunsmith.
Now, we have a serious big problem finding a new one, since they are out of production long time ago. The trigger guard to the new M77 doesnt fit to the old modell Frowner
Does anyone have a spare one or maybe someone know where i can get one ??

I can still use the gun, but I dont like to go hunting with a boken trigger guard, dont feel very safe with it.

So if anyone can help, please reply, the deer season is just around the corner ...

Thx

Steel guard for old 77 here.

If you don't want the steel guard we might be able to make a deal. I have a 7X57 that I could take the original aluminum guard from. PM me if you want to talk about it.

Thx for the help guys, I really a appreciate it.
I checked at Brownells, but they dont sell it anymore.
Stock Number 577-000-002 has been Discontinued by Brownells.

So I guess I must get a used one.

I had just ordered a trigger guard from Brownells this Febuary for my ruger. Moyers was out of stock for ~ 3 motnhs so I replaced with the one Brownells makes.

A bit pricey ~$88. The part number is 080-000-015

Actually, forget my last post.

They (Brownells) doesn't make their own anymore because it was too pricey compared to Moyers, and then they (Brownells) said they dropped Moyers because they were not able to supply them. I just got done speaking with them.

I don't think anyone else makes this part now, so you will have to get a used one

But Brownells are actually thinking about buying the equipment from Moyers, since he is shutting down.

Found 2 factory origionals in the cellar while packing for relocation move. PM if you still need one. Didn't find the new in wrapper steel one, though may have already packed that one... so many things so little time.
