I have an L579 with a Bansner stock and 21" Hart barrel all coated in black teflon. I made the big mistake of having this chambered in .284 win. I want to re-barrel it to 7mm-08. Can the teflon be taken off to start over? If so how, and what would it cost to have it done?

Kind of curious, why was it a mistake in .284 win?

Hardin284, I've got a L579 in 6/284 which was a bitch to feed until I removed the magazine box and allowed the wider rounds to stack better! Just make sure that the bullet tips will not catch under the feed ramp. That's all it took. Good shootin.
