With all of the surplus and cloned Mauser actions available in today's market, does anyone know of a comprehensive list of Mauser actions (both surplus & commercial) which gives their respective lengths?

There is a pretty good list in Jerry Kuhnhausen's Shop Manual for the Mauser.

Yes, I have that one. Unfortunately, every time I seem to run across a surplus Mauser action, it oesn't seem to be one that Jerry included in his list.

Thanks for the response, I appreciate your effort.

Does one of those have a single comprehensive list? Or will one need all five? (I have three of them.)

Canuck, I know what you're asking for, but I do not think such a list exists. There were just too many variations of the M98 produced to compile them onto a neat least. Or, at least, no one has tried to do so lately.

Frankly, if all else fails...ask ALF. That man has forgotten more about Mausers than I may ever know...
