I would think that the Timney Bueller style would work just fine, unless of course you're looking for a Model 70 style 3 position type.

its got to be really low, if it requires modofications, I'd just grind down this one head shot's don't leave blood trails

Shooter I have a couple (3) of Mausers that I started off with Beuhler style safeties but am in the process of changing over all three to a Winchester style 3 position safeties. I will also do the same on my Springfield project. The problem I find with the Beuhlers and their clones is the fact that when hunting with a round in the pipe and safety "on" it can be impossible to flip to "off" safety with cold fingers or gloves as they are too close to the scope to get a grab on it. I would spend the money with Ed Lapour for your Springfields 3 position safety. If you have a Mauser the choices are a few more (Gentry). Good luck with your project.

I just finished doing up another batch of the two position ones for Mausers. I do have an extra kit for the springfield conversion. It is an alternative to the three position ones and it will work on your Springfield. Email me if you are interested.
