What is a good trigger for the G33/40 that sets farther back in the trigger guard?

You are right Jim. I believe he is making them but he has changed and is now making them out of unobtanium.

The higher priced Timney sets further back...but again "out of stock" everywhere. I know GMA is going with the Recknagel..you can get it from NECG in the US...ask Mark or Marcia about the position in the guard

Has anyone tried one of those jard triggers?
Looks to simple to be good, no idea where they set in the guard either.

About any custom trigger can be cut off, shaped to your liking, checkered or whatever, and tigged back on to sit in the rear of the trigger guard..

I am very pleased with my Recknagel. The quality has to be seen to be believed. Very easily adjustable for engagement, spring pressure and backlash. Currently set at a safe and repeatable 1.75lbs
