I'm looking to put this laminated Richard's Microfit stock on a Weatherby MK V Magnum: http://www.rifle-stocks.com/Tactical_with_wood_drop_forearm_72dpi.JPG I'm concerned about the wood thickness just in back of the tang - has anyone experienced any cracking of these types stocks with heavy recoiling rifles? Thanks. | ||

A Weatherby Mk V Biathlon rifle???  I wouldn't put a "heavy kicker" in a stock configured like that. | |||
