Friends-

Will Blackburn bottom metal for the Model 70 Winchester work with the Montana M1999 Action?

Has anyone tried this?

Please let me know.

their new name is CNC Specialty Products and their phone number is 1-435-623-2074. Their website is still at www.blackburnmachine.com

Mark,

There is at least one problem that I am aware of, and that is that the Blackburn guard is machined for all three of the "winchester" action screws, so you will have an empty hole when mounted on the 1999. Other than that I do not know. Maybe they could do a custom and eliminate the screw hole for you though. I would guess the rest should fit up fine, but that is just a guess.
