Cannot eject 2 3/4 in. Remington copper solids. Spent shell jams with incoming new shell. Changed action spring...no improvement! Is there anyone with a fix? Any comments would be appreciated. Browning technical is no help.

Seems to be a rash of Browning Gold problems lately; conspiracy? Search the archives here and you'll find a recent thread or two. The spring and rings in the gas bracket on the barrel can be taken apart if you make a spring compressor for it. Pretty easy to make but the parts are a tight fit and you have to be careful to not create burrs while reassembling it. Otherwise there's no way to completely clean it. If the gun is totally clean, including the gas ports, and not over-oiled, and springs and other parts are all in good order, then use different shot shells. Wish there was a better answer but Browning's claim that their gun will cycle on every shot shell made might be just a little overstated. John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA!
