I need some help. Anyone out there have a bolt shroud/firing pin assy. for a Sako A-III action??? It's the one with a 4" mainspring and in long action (270).

Lee, believe it or not, I have actually had good luck calling SAKO/Beretta direct and buying a few replacement parts. I've purchased some bolt parts and spare magazines, and actually spoke to a lady who knew what I was asking for, and I got what I was after the first time in each case--3 different occasions.

I have called Berreta & talked to 2 different people, They tell me all thier old parts have been sold to Whitewater (Jim Lutes) and he does not have one. I may have to buy an action or gun just to find the part I need.

If you can find a gunsmith or machinist that could make a copy for less than $250.00, that might be an idea.
