Anyone had one apart and know how to lighten it? I am looking for 3 lbs and it is currently pulling 5 lbs.

Please let me know if you find out anything on adjusting these triggers. I considered one as a cheap shooter that will be used infrequently. The lack of the accutrigger stopped me from buying one. How does your shoot?

Here are some pics of the trigger:

Looks to me that the only adjustment is overtravel with the allen screw closest to the trigger shank. The trigger spring has been relocated to the left of it and has no adjustment for weight of pull. I have read of some cutting off a coil or two and getting it down to 4 lbs. Since the hole is tapped, you might be able to remove the heavy spring and replace it with a weaker one that could be adjusted with a set screw. Trigger engagement is controlled by the notch in the front trigger arm and is not adjustable. But you could drill and tap the notch as Savage did for the 110C and install another set screw for adjustment. Better yet, if you can find an old 110c or later trigger, it can probably be adapted and already has the proper adjustments. You might have to grind down the rear arm a bit.
