I have owned several of these 611's and to this very day I have never found another that caught my eye as this one did. They are an awesome varmit rig and the older ones are a milled receiver vs the newer POS stamped receiver. This one is topped with a 3X9 compact.

I have the same rifle, purchased back in 96 or 97 so I believe it has the milled receiver, etc. It is superbly accurate and just a lot of fun to shoot. I picked up two 14 round mags for it at the time so it's really a blast to rapid fire. I shoot the cci 30 gr hollow points and the gun just loves them. Great rifle, well made, and really fun.
