I have a Sako AV, 30-06. It was originally equipped with a mannlicher stock and would not hold zero at all. I replaced it with a BC carbelite and bedded it. This was years ago and since that time I have acquired a few more "black rifles". Well I got the itch to put that beautiful mannlicher stock back on. How do you properly bed a full length mannlicher stock? I won't have a problem bedding the action but what is the correct way to take care of the full length fore end on this rifle? Thanks.......

The Sako 2-piece mannlicher stock was made so that the forend didn't apply (or recieve) any pressure on the barrel. If you bed just the action, I'm sure it will solve your zero problems.
