Going to have an action re-barreled to 22-250. Gunsmith has a 1 in 12 twist barrel already in his shop.

What range of bullet weights would a 1 in 12 stabilize best?

1 in 12 is pretty much the standard twist for most 22-250 and mine have shot 40 to 55 grain well with most of my shooting with 50,52.53.55grain bullets for the better performance at the longer ranges the 22-250 makes possible over the smaller cased 22's.....the 22-250 is a nice easy cartridge to load for and with a little care is long lasting brass for loading....good luck and good shooting!!!
