I am planning my next gun project, i have a 700 action in 7mm rem i want to turn it into a 264 it'll be in an H-S precision stock. i have guns with barrels from pac-nor, kreiger, was thinking of trying someone else, any suggestions? i think this gun needs at least a 26" barrel.

I would agree with a 26". I like McGowan and the last couple have been Douglas. All mentioned make a good barrel.

As usual just my $.02

I went with a 1 in 8" twist SS Krieger #4 contour and had it fluted.

Toomanytools (John Farner) put it together for me and it's amazingly accurate.
