I've used all the Model 70 type, side swing safeties made, from various vendors, some still around, some not, both foreign and domestic. I am talking about the new, 3 position ones, not the converted two position ones, which I also have used and have made.
But by far, the best quality are the ones made by Jim Wisner.
I'm in the process of replacing my older brand ones with these. They are very well machined and have a very nice finish; no machine marks (maybe little ones on the bottom), with a heat treated blue lever.
Index perfectly; unlike some others. Lever moves very crisply and positively. Of course, like any you have to machine the bolt lock notch if you want it to lock the bolt.
I like them.
Order some.

Good advice !

Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

I agree 1000% and how I love that adjustable shallow v old time mod. 70 375 rear sight he makes. I even had one installed on my double rifle and a bolt gun into the quarter ribs..
