Does anyone here, know of a way to make slight scope ring marks disappear? I have a nice 3x12x56 zeiss z, steel tube, with very shallow ring marks and would like it to look new. What about cold blue? Thanks CG

nope. You can have it refinished but that would probably cost a pretty penny at the factory. Just try to cover the marks with the new rings. Difficulty is inevitable Misery is optional

I have tried cold blue on a couple of steel tube scopes with some success. Depending on the size and depth of marks your results will vary. For me the finished work was no worse than before. NRA Life Member NRA Charter Member Golden Eagles
