Hello All,

I'm considering have a rifle Teflon coated. Or gunkoted, or whatever they call that stuff today. I'm actually having a tough time figuring out what color to go with...and I'm even having a tough time visualizing what even black looks like.

I'd love to see your "coated" guns.

Thanks!

Regards,

Robert

Here is a Ruger M77 John Farner (toomanytools) built for me in .264WinMag. It's coated in black Cerakote.

It's pretty decent paint for a stainless gun. Wink

You can buy this stuff at Brownells for about $40 which is enough to do 2-3 rifles. After working with both I like the air cure much better than the oven cure.

Grey, and I'm still trying to get use to it.
