I have a customer gun come in, (98 mauser) that was fitted and chambered for a 220 swift. I does not feed as the rims hang up and pulls the next cartridge down with it. Is there a way to remedy this or sugest they rabarrel to another case?

You need to either carefully load the magazine with each cartridge forward of the rim below it or

Add parallel spacers in the front and rear of the magazine box angled from lower rear to upper front. That is how my FN's and pre 64 Wins had them.

Thanks Airgun, I remember reading about it before. I just know its not a good choice for feeding reasons. I will probabley just give it back.
